Two vinyl lovers.
One big frustration.
We're a couple of Melburnians, immersed in one of the world's most vibrant vinyl cultures, and we care deeply about making things simple, intuitive, and a joy to experience, distilling that into something for vinyl lovers everywhere.
Vinyl Crate Space didn’t start as an idea, it started as a realisation, crates getting fuller, records getting harder to track, those moments of “I know I own this… somewhere,” and yes, buying the same record twice.
We’d look at all the vinyl on our shelves and have no idea what was actually there. When friends came over and asked what we had, we couldn’t even tell them, just rows and rows of incredible, unlistened-to albums. And that’s what sparked it, a desire to listen more deeply and remember what we already had.
Because vinyl isn’t just a collection, it’s memory, it’s identity, it’s chapters of your life sitting quietly on a shelf.
So we built the thing we couldn’t find, shaped by the culture we’re part of, not just to organise records, but to deepen the relationship with them.
